Tantanoola Caves
Come and discover one of South Australia's most impressive caves at the Tantanoola Caves Conservation Park.
This spectacular cave, set into a cliff face, is believed to have been exposed by the constant pounding of the ocean. Over time the sea has retreated leaving behind a cavern of interesting shells, pebbles and seal bones.
Today, Tantanoola Caves comprises an extraordinary display of cave decorations (speleothems) in beautiful shades of pink and brown, coloured by its dolomite base rock. The 'Up and Down Rocks' is a special highlight.
Tantanoola is one of Australia's few wheelchair accessible caves. Upon arrival, enjoy a special hosted experience as a knowledgeable guide introduces you to the history and geology of the caves and explains how its spectacular array of formations has developed over thousands of years. You are then free to stroll through the large cavern at your leisure and take photographs.
Above ground, take advantage of the picturesque picnic grounds and the cliff top walking trail which offers panoramic views of the surrounding district.

Millicent Domain and Playground
Come along and enjoy the family fun atmosphere at Millicent Mega Playground, a colourful and safe outdoor adventure playground in The Domain. The Mega Playground is a modern adventure space providing equipment for all age groups and people with varied interests and abilities. Children will delight in the playground with wheelchair access to some of the playground equipment, a Liberty Swing and outdoor exercise equipment for use by adults.
Bring the whole family along to experience the play equipment, skate park and surrounding parklands, ideal for a picnic/enjoying the great outdoors. Located in The Domain, (adjacent to skate park and Civic Centre). Entrance is via child access gates at the southern end of the playground and parking is available in the Civic and Arts Centre car park.
The Domain integrates Millicent's art, culture, library, sports, parklands and play facilities a vibrant hub of community life in Millicent.
Millicent Living History Museum
Telling the story of Millicent town and district from pre-settlement times, the museum is based in a large complex via the Visitor Information Centre and includes a Shipwreck room, a large machinery shed, some beautiful costumes (formerly the Helen Hughes' costume collection in Lobethal) and arguably the best collection of horse drawn vehicles in Australia.

Canunda Sand Dunes
Discover a spectacular coastline of cliffs and long stretches of surf beaches in Canunda National Park. Featuring a diversity of coastal habitats, Canunda offers great opportunities to enjoy bushwalking, observe local birdlife, surf the waves or snorkel among the fish.
The northern section of the park is characterised by limestone cliffs, sea stacks, offshore reefs and low dense scrub, whereas the southern section is dominated by mobile sand dunes and stretches of beach which are backed by low foredunes. Evidence of the Aboriginal Boandik people, who once lived in temporary camps along the coast, can be seen throughout the park.
The 40km coastline offers great fishing opportunities. Depending on the season and ocean conditions, mulloway, salmon, sharks or rays may tempt a bite. Try your luck off the rocks where sweep, abalone and crayfish may be caught.
Four-wheel driving is possible along the full length of the park by following the marker posts through the dunes and along Geltwood Beach.

Lake Mcintyre

Lake Mcintyre, a native wildlife and vegetation reserve that has been created in an old quarry.
The Lake is a bird sanctuary with a year round water supply fed from a natural underground spring.
A number of purpose-built bird hides and viewing areas offer visitors an opportunity for bird spotting.
The walking trail is is 1.3km, takes approximately 20 minutes, includes a 100 metre boardwalk and is graded moderate.
There are free barbecues, picnic areas and amenities. Open daily until dusk.
